Jans Corporation has extensive experience with construction management projects. We offer management and counseling services for your building project through either an Agency or At-Risk contract. In an “Agency” arrangement, we manage the project, but the owner is responsible for maintaining the subcontracts. In an “At-Risk” arrangement, we hold all the subcontracts under our contract with the owner. We assist in review of preliminary plans and specifications and provide accurate cost comparisons for alternate methods or products. During the construction phase we conduct weekly progress meetings. This approach allows us to provide an updated progress schedule, answer any questions, and head off any potential problems. Through the use of a computerized scheduling system, we are able to monitor the progress of the project and verify completion and occupancy dates. We make an excellent strategic partner and feel that the team concept with everyone working together towards a common goal delivers the most efficient and satisfactory project results.

This method of project delivery utilizes a team approach with the owner, Jans Corporation, the architect and the engineers working together to make that dream a reality. From start to finish, we work as a team to deliver exactly what you are looking for.
Before construction can begin you need to have a plan. We will meet with you to assess your needs and design for those needs including site plans, structural plans, and floor layouts. We also have in-house technical expertise to provide economical solutions in determining a budget for your project.

Jans Corporation offers routine and preventative maintenance services to protect your investment. We will evaluate your building and prepare a detailed maintenance checklist. Our services help keep your costs down while your building will be running at its highest efficiency. We will alert you of potential problems and advise you on what to do before they become serious.
When an emergency arises, Jans Corporation offers emergency on-call service.

Jans Corporation is a full service general contractor serving South Dakota, Minnesota, Iowa and Nebraska since 1982. We self-perform steel and precast erection, concrete work, rough carpentry. and finish carpentry. All other trades are carefully selected from a group of subcontractors that meet our industry’s highest standards of quality, safety, and performance.
